Dr. Nikki Vyas received her medical degree (MD) from the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine. After completing her medical training at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, she joined the Gulf Coast Dermatopathology Laboratory in Tampa, Florida, as a dermatopathologist. Her activities in this role included microscopic assessments of specimens, writing reports, engaging with clinical providers, and supporting the laboratory’s quality assurance protocols. Dr. Nikki Vyas spent time with Dermpath Diagnostics in Altamonte Springs before becoming the medical director of Vyas Pathology in Oviedo, a position that entails aspects of laboratory management.

During her time as a biomedical sciences and Spanish language student at the University of South Florida in Tampa, Dr. Vyas volunteered at medical camps throughout Surat, India, through the philanthropic organization Doctors Goodwill Foundation. She also presented and conducted medical research at Neurostructural Research Laboratories, Inc. After achieving her MD at the Morsani College of Medicine, she spent four years in an anatomic and clinical pathology residency program, followed by a dermatopathology fellowship. Outside of her professional activities, she enjoys spending time outdoors and practicing yoga and meditation.
